3D without glasses is the holy grail of 3D TV simply for the fact that sitting in your living room with special glasses on might feel a bit odd to some of us. But is 3D with no glasses possible? Maybe..

Since 3D TV is a brand new concept the choice of 3D TV glasses available in the market is rather limited, and not surprisingly, rather expensive. Though all the major 3D TV manufacturers include a couple of 3D glasses in the package.

While regular 3D content will become more available in the next few years, it’s likely to remain as sports, movies and documentaries for the time being, although watching your favorite dramas, sitcoms and soaps should not be too far away.

Most of the major manufacturers of TV’s like Samsung, Sony & Toshiba are rushing to get their 3D ready TV’s out on the market. If you are going to buy in to a 3D experience, you want to make sure you do it right!

Thanks largely to James Cameron’s Avatar film, the technophiles are going crazy for 3D TV and 3D gaming. But is there really a need for you to switch from good old 2D TV to 3D TV?
